Up to £40,000 salary with a £66,000 OTE upward dependent upon experience

Our client are a well established contract hire brokerage with a reputation for quality and the ability to offer a wide range of services to a diverse client base. They are part of a very successful group of diverse, but related businesses interests and they take great pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining their strong industry partnerships.
Recent growth and an expansion of services means they need a dynamic business development manager, to bring in new clients.

The role
The brief is simple, your job would be to hunt and win incremental new contract hire customers for our client. You will open doors, start meaningful conversations and build relationships that are based on truly understanding the customer's needs. You'll win business by building a value proposition and showing customers how you can work together to solve transport issues.

We love candidates who have a vision of success and a determination to achieve a person goal that puts fire in the belly. Someone who grasps opportunities like this and won't let a bad day drag them down. Must have that we want to see are:
- Great sales planning, diary and time management
- The ability to self generate opportunities and get in front of buyers
- The acumen required to understand a customers’ problems and challenges and relate those to solutions you can provide
- The ability and discipline required to find and manage your own sales opportunities
- The ability to generate a solid pipeline of properly qualified prospects that become customers
- The acumen to know when to “do a deal” and when the right thing to do is walk away
- The ability to close business
- Customer management skills that build solid relationships, for the customer, for our client and for you
