As part of their ambitious but achievable growth plans, they’ve tasked us with finding a talented Business Development Manager to join their business. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career with a truly outstanding organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating new business opportunities with employers across the North East.
- Building strong relationships with decision-makers, identifying their needs through a consultative approach, and presenting tailored training solutions.
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business to maximise opportunities and deliver outstanding results.
- Using CRM tools to manage leads, track performance, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a driven and dynamic field sales professional who thrives on generating new business and delivering results. You’ll be motivated by a clear sense of purpose and the “why” that fuels your determination and success.
You’ll need to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in new business generation and consultative sales.
- A tenacious, can-do attitude with resilience and focus.
- Excellent time and diary management skills.
- The commercial acumen to understand clients’ challenges and match them with effective training solutions.
- Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline.
- Accurate forecasting and activity recording.
- The ability to recognise when to close — and when to walk away.
- Outstanding relationship-building and customer management skills.
