Are you already selling into the M&E contracting market, or are you an experienced electrical professional from the tools or project delivery side looking to move into a commercial role?
If you understand the challenges M&E contractors face around electrical wiring, installation times and labour shortages, and you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and influencing technical decisions, this role could be the ideal next step.
The opportunity
Our client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of modular wiring systems and prefabricated electrical solutions. For over twenty‑four years within a group trading for forty‑six years, they have helped contractors, consultants and developers deliver projects faster, safer and more efficiently through modular wiring technology.
We are recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to develop the London territory. You will build on an established customer base while identifying and winning new business.
This is a remote role where you will manage your own diary. Most of your time will be spent meeting customers, understanding project requirements and providing technical solutions that add genuine value.
Who we are interested in
Experienced technical sales professionals - You will already have experience selling modular wiring products or electrical solutions into M&E contractors, electrical contractors or the wider construction industry. You will be confident managing key accounts, developing specifications and identifying new opportunities.
Technical professionals looking to move into sales - You may be an experienced electrical professional from the tools or project delivery side, with extensive experience delivering electrical installations. You might be an Approved Electrician, Electrical Supervisor, Foreman, Project Delivery Lead or someone who has overseen or installed modular wiring systems on major projects.
You understand how the electrical contracting industry works, can discuss technical challenges confidently and enjoy building relationships. If you are commercially minded and looking to move into a commercial role, we would like to hear from you.
Your hands‑on experience gives you immediate credibility with contractors. You will be able to advise and solve problems in ways traditional salespeople often cannot.
Full commercial and sales training is provided, making this an ideal step for someone moving off the tools or out of site based delivery.
