Workshop Manager
Our client is very well respected provider of services to the HGV market and has the customer at the heart of everything they do and it's essential that any candidate understands the significance of this culture and demonstrates the ability to adopt and embrace this culture in everything they do and in the relationships they build both internally and externally.
We are seeking a commercially aware Workshop Manager to lead a team of technicians with experience of HGV and transportation challenges. Our client is well known for delivering solution based services to a diverse client base. Much of the throughput is internal, servicing the owned fleet with a growing number of retail customers.
The Workshop Manager will be responsible for a team of 4 qualified technicians, 2 apprentices, a part time technician and a workshop administrator.

The role
In a nutshell, your job will be to manage the team, processes and procedures, improve quality, utilisation and efficiency and be responsible for P&L for the department.

- The ability and discipline to drive increased efficiency and utilisation.
- Experience of 'Key 2' or similar.
- Class 1 HGV Licenece (preferred).
- CPC (preferred).
- MOT experience.
- An understanding of 'sigma six' theories
