Fleet Controller

Salary £32,000 (plus a branch bonus)

Our client is a member of the Fleet News top 50 UK Leasing companies.  The business has an incredibly diverse range of mobility products that includes daily and flexible vehicle rental.  With branches in multiple UK locations, they require a highly organised person who can control the rental vehicles located at their Edinburgh branch.

The Role

The Fleet Controller role plays a crucial part of branch operations. You will ensure that the hire fleet is maintained to a safe, legal and roadworthy standard for the branch team to maximise utilisation.  Your responsibilities would include:

• Minimising vehicle downtime by chasing the repairing dealerships / garages
• Organise servicing, tyres and mechanical repairs in keeping with legal requirements
• Making sure the garage is organised and that vehicles are parked in the correct areas
• Ensure ready to rent vehicles are displayed in line and looking fantastic
• Ensure Electric Vehicles are fully charged before they are collected or delivered to customers
• Ensure customers return paperwork is completed, signed and received to ensure any customer caused repairs are charged
• Ensuring the valeting team prepare vehicles to the highest standards
• Ensuring the cleaning team are well stocked with supplies

Working hours are 8 per day, with the business operating between 8am to 6pm.  Alternate Saturday morning working is required between 8am and 12 midday.
